Later in 2000s, due to the growth of internet and technology, e-learning became familiar among the world nations. Educational institutions, business organizations started utilizing the opportunity of making their students and professionals to learn the required education and professional skills by the means of internet supported devices such as computers, laptops, mobile phones and tablets. Later in 2010s, many organizations have developed their own web-based applications and software to facilitate e-learning for the students along with traditional face-to-face learning method. Due to the global threat imposed by Covid-19 (Coronavirus), educational institutions need to educate their students throughout online mode (digital platforms) as full time replacement for face-to-face traditional learning. Even though e-learning process ensured continuous flow of education, the students on the other hand encountered certain reasonable problems while learning through digital medium and hence the study is about to investigate the advantages and shortcomings of online sessions being conducted for students in India.
