Hsp90 Alpha Inhibition for Cancer Therapy: a Consensus Pharmacophore Perspective

EasyChair Preprint no. 11644

6 pagesDate: December 28, 2023

Abstract

In the quest for effective cancer therapies, Heat Shock Protein 90 (Hsp90) Alpha stands out as a promising target due to its pivotal role in regulating the stability of proteins critical for cancer cell survival. This study adopts a consensus pharmacophore perspective to unravel the intricate molecular features essential for Hsp90 Alpha inhibition in the context of cancer therapy. Through meticulous consensus pharmacophore modeling, this research identifies and delineates crucial structural elements that contribute to the inhibition of Hsp90 Alpha. The pharmacophoric blueprint highlights the spatial arrangement of lipophilic, hydrogen-bonding, and other key features within inhibitors. This perspective serves as a valuable guide for the rational design of anti-cancer agents targeting Hsp90 Alpha.

Keyphrases: Hsp90, modeling, Pharmacophore
