Comparison Of Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) And Perturb-Observe (PO) Of Photovoltaic System

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to give us a detailed comparison  between the  two methods of maximum power point tracking algorithm for photovoltaic systems: Perturb and Observe (PO) and fuzzy logic (FL). This occurred under different conditions of irradiation. Simulation results has indicated  that the proposed fuzzy logic controller (FLC) could provides faster and stable tracking maximum power and much better behavior than (PO) methods.
