Analysis of Field Oriented Control Strategy for Induction Motor

Abstract

This paper presents the controlling of the Induction Motor by using the „Field Oriented Control (FOC)‟ method with a PI controller. In addition, the paper describes a model of three phase Induction Motor in d-q reference frame theory and its computer simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK®. The required equations are stated in the paper itself in d-q model theory.
