IT forensics is a very young science. As a result, suitable tools, also in relation to forensic processes, were created a few years ago. The experts literature is focused on technical-organizational methods, less on the processes, which the legal standard provisions in each affected state would finally have to map. The criminal process under Austrian law also includes iterations, so that an appeal procedure can lead to a second legal point of legal process and investigations again. Experts can also be commissioned as participants in accordance with §§ 126, 127 StPO, which is usually carried out, since "special specialist knowledge" is often required. The procedure by experts in the collection and examination of the criminal law facts should therefore be presented in a visual form, for example for criminal proceedings. Legal visualization or visual modeling would be ideal as a tool. With the help of this method, it should be shown even more clearly which test steps are necessary to get solutions.
