Abstract

The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between Burnout syndrome and emotional intelligence in a convenience sample of 327 students of the Initial Education career of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE during confinement. The instruments used were Traid Meta-Mood Scale-24 (TMMS-24) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory – Student Survey (MBI-SS), the study has a quantitative approach, the research design is non-experimental. It is possible to show that the Burnout Syndrome and emotional intelligence are related together with the students of Initial Education due to confinement, establishing that the more emotional exhaustion the regulation of the student should be improved and with a low emotional fatigue an excellent regulation is achieved.
