Information warfare is a multifaceted phenomenon that has become increasingly prominent in the digital age. It is characterized by the strategic use of information to influence public opinion or the behavior of a target group. In this document we discuss information warfare, its main characteristics, background, influence on civil society, Fake News as part of information warfare, propaganda or disinformation, its procedures, use of information warfare to carry out coups d'état, and how this is used against Cuba. To prepare it, the methods of biographical search, synthesis, comparison and deduction were used.
