Based on the applications presented in the literature, this paper aims to present different possibilities of incorporating the synchronverter strategy for connecting distributed energy resources to the grid, from wind turbines to electric vehicles, in addition to showing how the synchronverter can facilitate the dissemination of HVDC networks, DC micro-grids and also operate as a STATCOM. To deepen the understanding of the technology, a consideration of the synchronverter's parameters will be carried out.
