The contributions of ICTs throughout history are evident for the development of a country, notably in recent years. In this context, there is no doubt that GAI comes as an essential tool in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), given the benefits it offers, but also because of the challenges posed by changes in student learning processes due to their excessive use and the lack of ethical training in the management and use of information, among other relevant aspects. In this article, we will explore the ethical implications of the responsible use of this resource and the challenges of HEIs to reclaim the essence of education as a deeply human act.
