The Review of Management and Economic Engineering (RMEE) Conference reaches this year a significant milestone: its 10th anniversary edition. Starting with 2010, the conference has brought together researchers, academics, doctoral students and practitioners in the field of management and economic engineering, fostering dialogue on adaptive environments, innovation, sustainability, industrial transformation and the evolution of managerial practices in the technical field. Building on the thematic continuity of previous editions, this anniversary edition looks ahead to the next decade of managerial and industrial evolution. The 2026 theme reflects the convergence of three major forces shaping contemporary industry: advanced technologies, sustainability imperatives and the renewed focus on human-centricity.
Industry 5.0 marks a shift toward systems that are not only efficient and digitally enhanced, but also resilient, sustainable and centered on human value. Engineering management plays a pivotal role in orchestrating this transformation — from integrating AI into operations, to designing circular processes, to developing the skills and organizational cultures needed for responsible innovation.
This edition invites contributions that explore how management and engineering can jointly shape resilient, innovative and future-ready organizations, balancing technological advancement with environmental sustainability and human well-being.
The aim of the event is to bring together recognized and young researchers, academia representatives and practitioners, providing a platform to discuss new concepts, practices, and approaches, to exchange and share experiences and research results and to enhance national and international networking and collaborations.
