This book focuses on the design, development, and analysis of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) based systems along with technological impacts and challenges in social learning. This book aims to integrate IoT, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Li-Fi and 5G in the development of AR/VR systems for social learning. Augmented reality (AR) is an expanded shape of the real physical world objects achieved by applying digitally projected elements, sound, or some other sensory incitements delivered using information technology infrastructure. On the other hand, virtual reality (VR)is the computer-simulated experience to visualize real-world things. The significant applications of VR include gaming and entertainment, training, education, business, etc. For example, using VR a 360-degree experience of products attracts the garments customers to try the clothes virtually. Such several VR applications are there on social media, like Facebook has launched Horizon Worlds, which is a virtual reality world of avatars. Also, Meta is envisioning a virtual world for connecting digital avatars through work, entertainment, etc., using virtual reality headsets. Augmented reality, a powerful visualization tool, is no longer just a technology rather, it is about defining how we wish to live in the physical world with this platform and how we can feel the significant experiences to enrich humanity.
