Submission Guidelines
There are four categories of contributions
- Research- to present one's research as well as analysis, interpretation, and validation of research results.
- Position- to present innovative, arguable ideas (work-in-progress), opinions, or concepts that are likely to stimulate discussion at the workshop.
- Case Study - to present an actual application, preferably in a real-world setting.
- Tool - to present a new tool or a new component of an existing tool, to demonstrate workflow and user interaction, and to evaluate the overall relevance of the tool.
Papers may be submitted in one of the following formats:
- Paper of 10 to 12 pages
- Short paper of 6 to 8 pages
- Presentation (report) - abstract only, without publication in the conference proceedings
- Poster - abstract only, without publication in the conference proceedings
Authors should first submit a maximum two-page abstract (in English or German) of their contribution via EasyChair. Each abstract will be reviewed by two members of the program committee. Notification of the decision will be made via Easychair. After notification, paper and short papers (both only in English) will be prepared according to the guidelines below and submitted via EasyChair. In case of presentation, nothing else needs to be submitted.
ABSTRACT
The abstract can be written in German or English. It is crucial for admission to the workshop. It will be reviewed by two members of the program committee.
If the review is positive, admission to the workshop will be granted and, depending on the chosen format, the paper or short paper will be requested for submission.
It should cover the following points:

Publication
Accepted papers and short papers will be published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Computer Science after the workshop, which collects submissions of several workshops held concurrently at SEFM 2022. To be included in the publication, at least one of the co-authors must have presented the paper at the workshop.
Depending on the number and quality of the submitted papers, one or more special issue(s) with selected papers are planned.

The GFaI is the venue for the AI4EA workshop. As a reputable research institute, we are located in a perfect location at Berlin's Science and Technology Park Adlershof, not far from Schönefeld Airport and Ostbahnhof.
