IMEKO PHOTOMET EDUMET 2026
The PHOTOMET EDUMET 2026 will bring together researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to explore cutting-edge advancements in metrology and their impact across diverse domains such as automotive, healthcare, robotics, manufacturing, and environmental monitoring.
The conference program will feature plenary sessions by leading experts, technical tracks, and special thematic sessions. Topics will include innovations in education and training for instrumentation and training, innovations in photonic metrology, advancements in optical sensing, and the integration of optics in next-generation industrial applications.
You are invited to present your latest research as an oral presentation or as a poster in front of experts from industry and well prestigious research facilities. Expand your network during a exhibition visit and during the coffee breaks. Due to the fact of the presentation of latest research results in photonics an education you are also invited to join as a listener to the conference.
The conference is focused but not limited to the main working topics of IMEKOs technical committee TC1 Education and Training in Measurement Sciences, technical committee TC2 Photonics as well as latest sensor developments. The following gives an overview about the main topics.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. There is a two-step submission process:
- Extended Abstract describing the main facts of the planned fullpaper within an maximium length of two pages. The Template for the Papersubmission will be found on the conference webpage (paper submision / author guidelines). The deadline for the submision of extended abstracts is February the 16th 2026. The notification of accept is scheduled to March 31th 2026.
- Full Manusscripts should be using the manuscript template and hav to be submitted until June first 2026. After second stage of review authors will be informed about the review and should resubmit the final version until July the 15th. All manusscripts will be published after the conference in the SPIE digital library.
