Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) are emerging topics in nowadays wirelessly connected world. Being able to properly characterize and model such problems is a highly challenging task during the design stage of electronic circuits. This book aims at providing the reader the professional knowledge in the pre-compliance, debugging and troubleshooting phases. It shall explain how to best utilize simulation and modeling techniques to avoid compliance hurdles at the later stage of full-compliance. This book is targeting SI and EMI/EMC professionals who are seeking advanced analysis and modeling techniques in this field.
The book shall cover the following topics, but not limited to:
- EMI/EMC Simulation Workflows.
- Full-Wave Simulations of EMC Problems.
- Co-Simulations/Multiphysics Techniques.
- Modeling Radiated and Conducted Emission Problems.
- Shielding Effectiveness Modeling.
- Near-Field vs Far-Field Simulations.
- Spice-Based and System Level Modeling of Analog and Mixed-Signal Electronics.
- Frequency-Selective Surfaces, Absorbers and Rasorbers.
- SI/PI Simulation of PCBs.
- Modeling of EMI Issues in Power Electronics.
- Machine Learning in EMI/EMC Problems.
- Modeling of Enclosures and Chambers.
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Simulation.
- EMC-Compliant Electronic Circuits.
- Full-Board EMI Simulations.
- Lightning Surge and Hi-Power Modeling.
- Cable-Harness Analysis and Design.
- Design and Modeling of LISNs and CDNs.
- Electrically Large EMI Problems.
