Welcome to AIEI 2026
2026 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Energy and Infrastructure (AIEI 2026) is hosted by The University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (DUT), in collaboration with Institute for Computational Science & Artificial Intelligence (COSARI), Van Lang University (VLU) (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam).
The conference will be organized in hybrid format, with in-person sessions hosted at DUT in Da Nang, Vietnam, and a special on-site session held at COSARI-VLU in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, along with live online sessions, from May 13–15, 2026.
The conference will feature keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations, and contributed papers. It aims to bring together researchers, engineers, and industry experts from around the world to share their latest research findings and innovative ideas across relevant fields.
As global societies move toward sustainable growth, artificial intelligence has emerged as a crucial driver in optimizing energy efficiency, advancing renewable integration, and enabling smart infrastructure management. AIEI 2026 will highlight cutting-edge research, innovative applications, and cross-disciplinary insights that demonstrate how AI technologies are reshaping energy production, distribution, and consumption. It will also emphasize the role of AI in building resilient and intelligent infrastructure that supports urbanization, transportation networks, and environmental sustainability.
Submission Guidelines
Publication
Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by the Technical Program Committee based on relevance to the conference themes, originality, technical quality, and clarity.
Accepted and presented papers of AIEI 2026 will be published online by EDP Sciences in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in major international indexing databases, including Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), Scopus, Ei Compendex, INSPEC, EBSCO, ProQuest, CAS, DOAJ, NASA ADS, and INSPIRE.
*Indexing is subject to the evaluation and acceptance of the respective databases.
In addition, selected high-quality papers will be invited to submit extended versions for special issues of the International Journal for Simulation and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (IJSMDO) and Applied Sciences , subject to the respective journals’ peer-review processes.

Venue
Da Nang: Located on the central coast of Vietnam, is one of the country’s most dynamic and rapidly developing cities. Known for its balance of natural beauty, modern infrastructure, and cultural heritage, Da Nang has become a top destination for both tourism and international events.
The city is renowned for its pristine beaches, such as My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach, often listed among the most attractive in Asia. These stretches of golden sand, combined with clear waters, provide ideal conditions for swimming, surfing, and other water sports. Beyond the coastline, the majestic Marble Mountains and the Ba Na Hills offer visitors opportunities to explore caves, pagodas, and breathtaking mountain views, including the famous Golden Bridge supported by giant stone hands.
Da Nang also serves as a convenient gateway to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the ancient town of Hoi An, the imperial city of Hue, and the My Son Sanctuary. Its central location makes it an excellent hub for exploring Vietnam’s cultural and historical treasures.
In recent years, Da Nang has gained a reputation as a modern, livable city. It boasts an international airport, well-planned infrastructure, and a vibrant culinary scene featuring both traditional Vietnamese dishes and international cuisine. The Han River waterfront, with its iconic Dragon Bridge that breathes fire on weekends, symbolizes the city’s innovative spirit and lively atmosphere.
Combining natural charm, cultural richness, and modern amenities, Da Nang stands as a welcoming destination for travelers, business delegates, and international conference participants alike.
