The CTE Research and Professional Development Conference (ACTER 2026) is the premiere event showcasing research in CTE, vocational education, and human resources development.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome.

• Full and Abstract Papers describing high quality scholarly research already completed.
• Scholarly Research Posters describing high quality scholarly research already completed.
• Innovative Teaching Posters describing new practices in teaching.
• Roundtable Sesssions describing works-in-progress.
• Symposium convening experts around important and timely issues in the field.

Venue

The conference will be held in San Marcos, Texas on the campus of Texas State University. San Marcos is approximately halfway between San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas.
